The Most powerful M car ever made by BMW

 BMW M5

BMW M5 is the high performance variant of the BMW 5 series which comes in the high performance sedan or we can say super sedan category.The first M5 was made in 1984-1985 which was made on the E28 535i chassis with engine form the M1 which resulted in the fastest production sedan of that time and for every generation of 5 series M5 is made since 1985.The E28 had a power output of 256 hp and now in 2020 we have F90 which have approximately 600 hp!!!!

BMW M5 Competition

The competition version of M5 is more powerful than M5 with 625 horses neighing under the hood!!!

It is also lighter than the M5 by 45 kgs which helps it to sprint faster.

This made the M5 0.2 seconds faster than the M5 in 0-100 acceleration from 3.3 seconds to 3.1 seconds with the top speed hitting 305 kmph.

BMW M5 CS

Now BMW have made the most powerful M car in their history which is the M5 CS which have the same exterior styling like that of the 2021 BMW M5 LCI but with distinct yellow daytime running lights which are mated with BMW laser lights reminding us the BMW M8 1 of 8 edition with the frozen deep green metallic paint scheme.

Now the M5 CS have the 4.4 litre Twin Power Turbo V8 engine tuned to produce approximately 635 hp with the unchanged 750 Nm of torque which will be distributed to all its wheels by the 

X-drive system.

The CS is more track focused but also able to cruise through Country roads with family that means it have the back seats as always but with a change that now only 2 can sit at the back .

It have reduced 70 kg weight from the M5 competition version that means a total reduction of 115 kgs from the regular M5 which is achieved by extensive use of carbon fibre parts .

It have the sportiest Carbon fibre bucket seats at the front as well at the rear, that were introduced with the 2020 M3 and M4, also Carbon fibre lip, rear spoiler, roof and even hood is also carved out of carbon fibre!!!

The engine compartment is also made up of lightweight material.

Now this beast can sprint from standstill to 100 kmph in under 2.9 seconds!!!! And that's a serious competition to all those who just make sportscars were you dont get rear seats or neither any boot space of use .

Conclusion

BMW have really broke the barrier in terms of making a super sedan that can make other supercars to bite the dust and that really deserves appreciation for such efforts. M5 CS will be only available in 2022 so let's wait to see what other rocks will be turned by BMW.
