Specs
The major change in the new model is its battery pack which is of the same old capacity rated at 44.5kWh which is termed as Hi-tech’ battery pack which MG says increased the ZS EV’s range to a claimed 419km (iCAT) – up from the 340km (ARAI) offered by the older.
There is no change in the motor which gives a decent power of 143hp and 353 Nm of torque.
Coming to the equipment, there is only the introduction of a new Ecotree Challenge feature on the MG i-Smart EV 2.0 connected car system. The feature allows owners to track their CO2 emissions and compare it with other owners which is certainly childish.
The car also have a increased ground clearance of 16mm which totals up to 177mm making the battery pack to sit at 205mm above the ground.
As before the ZS EV continues to be offered with a MG e-shield package offering 5-year unlimited km warranty, 5 labour free services, 5 years road side assistance and 5 way charging infrastructure (DC fast charging, on-board charging cable, home/office charger, mobile charging service and extended charging network). The battery pack comes with an 8-year, 1.5 lakh km warranty.
