Pravaig

Pravaig Extinction MK1

Pravaig Dynamics was founded in 2011 in Jaipur and they are backed by a French company which is active in renewable energy sources and for its EV venture they have setup a facility in Bengaluru.
Pravaig in Sanskrit means speed. They have a different business plan with their upcoming electric vehicle, Extinction.

Business plan

The company has targeted the corporates who just want luxury and comfort like that of a hotel suite on wheels and they will not invest on sales and service network, that means they are directly connecting to the buyer and in fact they will be just leasing out the car with a trained driver of their own. So that means we can just get the ride at the backseat of the car and that is where they are trying to give the atmost comfort to the passengers so that they can do their office work even in the car feeling like that of their office or home.

Extinction

So Extinction is the name of the car and the prototype of the car is named as Extinction MK1 whereas the production vehicle will be named Extinction MK2 and it is supposed to be launched in the later of 2021, it will be first launched in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
Extinction MK1 is designed like a future car so it has a lot of speciality starting from the normal glass looking led lights to the cockpit like inspired switch positions inside, which will have a certain changes in the MK2 for more convenience.

Performance

The company claims a 500km range from a 96kWh battery pack, which they say is assembled by them right here in India. The motor puts out 130hp and Pravaig says the car will hit a top speed of 196kph. Interestingly, the flier shared also indicates the car has autonomous driving capability and other features like a swappable battery, HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filtration, eight airbags and connectivity solutions.
The car have approximately 5000 small cells like that of Tesla below the floor of the car which helps to lower the centre of gravity of the car making it more safe and they claim a 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 5.4 seconds which is a great thing for such a startup company in India. It also supports fast charging which can charge the vehicle to 80% in 30 minutes.

Conclusion

Its a great leap for an Indian company but the fact that we cannot buy that car makes it a literally a difficult choice for normal people. Its only meant for people who love luxury and comfort on the move.
