BMW 3 series Gran Limousine is the long-wheelbase version, which is 110mm longer than the standard 3 series. This increase in length can be seen in the backseat's leg room as there is more legroom and the positioning of the backseat is more comfortable than the standard one. This car is the replacement for the now discontinued 3 series Gran Turismo. It gets a 2 litre petrol and diesel engines

Differences between the standard and the gran limousine

There are no major differences in the whole car, from front both cars are identical but when it comes to the side profile we can see a significant increase in the length of the car especially with the long back doors and the new  V cut alloy wheels are also new and fresh. At the back the only change is the badging where we can see a new L written like the 330Li which stands for the longer wheelbase.
The back seats are lot more comfortable but for a driver centric car the best place to sit is the driver seat only .

Specs

The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine borrows the 258hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (330Li) and 190hp, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel unit (320Ld) from the standard 3 Series, along with its 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. BMW claims a 0-100kph time of 6.2sec for the petrol and 7.6sec for the diesel. The 320Ld is only available with the Luxury Line trim, while the 330Li comes in Luxury Line and M Sport form.

Conclusion

This car is specially meant to be just sit at the back and relax and to do this the changes that have been made in the body of that standard 3 series can be felt while driving the car which is said to give you the sheer driving pleasure. As a BMW fan I would suggest to go with the standard one as its a lot more cheaper and it is quite comfortable and a lot fun to drive .
